Ever since I majored in environmental engineering in college, I've dreamt making even a small dent in the fight against climate change.
I made an app to raise awareness and foster habits related to climate change. It's designed for everyone, from those who don't believe in global warming to those already making efforts to protect the environment in their daily lives.

We all tackle climate issues differently. Some may not believe in global warming, while others are willing to invest their own money to protect the environment.

When it comes to improving people's awareness and lifestyles, it's more about taking small steps rather than expecting big changes all at once. With issues like environmental problems, which involve billions of people, even if each of us takes just one step forward, it can lead to significant change.
Right from the get-go, we raise awareness by showing data that confirms climate change is due to human activities, and we emphasize the impact of personal carbon emissions. This approach in the onboarding process instantly makes users feel their actions matter, motivating them to keep using the app.
By providing today's weather and forecast, we encourage daily app usage. We visualize how the climate right where the user lives has changed compared to average years, recent temperature trends, and how the week's forecast compares. This helps users understand and empathize with the severity of climate change.
To address the question, "Will my efforts alone really make a difference?" we show quantified efforts of other users of the app. We'll explain what these numbers mean for the environment and plan to add social features that connect you with real users, not just an abstract community, for collaborative actions.
